Halloween Costume Drama

So recently me and my friend went to a convention cosplaying as weeping angels from doctor who.
We spent quite a bit of time and effort on this, but, at the end of the day, we aren't professionals, and to be honest, we looked a bit crap. I felt really weird in that costume, I didn't like it and i didn't like how I looked in it.
Since the convention was really close to Halloween, my friend has been guilt tripping me into wearing it as my costume.
I usually love Halloween, and dressing up in costumes. But that's when I get to choose my OWN costume, and make it myself. Not when I have to dress in some bad cosplay.
